Safeline, a company specializing in senior healthcare solutions, is making its mark on the global healthcare stage by showcasing its flagship contactless sleep monitoring technology.
Participating in the 2025 Global Healthcare Week, held from September 4 to 6 at BEXCO in Busan, Safeline attracted attention by exhibiting its signature solution, “Sleep‑Pressura.”
Hosted by the City of Busan and co-organized by key local institutions including Busan Techno Park, the event is Korea’s largest healthcare industry exhibition, serving as a platform for companies and institutions to showcase cutting-edge medical and wellness technologies. Safeline not only presented its innovative products but also highlighted its potential for future growth through university-industry collaborations and strategic business partnerships.
“Sleep‑Pressura” is a contactless sleep care solution equipped with sensors capable of monitoring heart rate, sleep patterns, and body movements in real time — all without direct contact with the user. Installed beneath the bed, the device collects biometric data without disturbing the user, making it particularly well-suited for seniors or individuals with chronic health conditions.
Founded in 2022, Safeline aims to go beyond simple health monitoring by expanding into integrated care services, health content, and entertainment-based wellness solutions. The company recently signed an MOU with Starple Entertainment, organizer of the Iron Classic fitness competition, to pursue innovative business models that blend sports, entertainment, and healthcare.
Safeline’s expansion strategy took a tangible step forward at this year’s exhibition through two key partnerships:
1. Industry-Academia Collaboration with Pukyong National University
Safeline has established a joint research and development framework with Pukyong National University, leveraging the university’s capabilities to advance the sophistication and field validation of Sleep‑Pressura.
2. Business Partnership with AutoWells
Safeline also signed a strategic MOU with AutoWells, an AIoT-based company specializing in contactless biosignal measurement technologies. AutoWells applies piezoelectric sensor technology across kiosks, hospital beds, and automotive seating, with successful deployments at Dien Hong Senior Care Center in Vietnam and Kangwon National University Hospital. Safeline plans to integrate AutoWells’ technology into its Sleep‑Pressura system to enhance accuracy and stability in sleep management and remote monitoring services for seniors.
