‘대한민국칭찬주인공’ 제390호로 선정되다. 
오는 2월13일 더불어 그는 CCBS방송 ‘칭찬합시다뉴스’
홍보대사로 공식 추대되며 새로운 사명과 역할을 맡게 됐다.
조정현회장은 오랜 시간 대중에게 웃음과 희망을 전해온 인물로
방송 활동 이후에도 사회공헌과 나눔 활동에 꾸준히 참여해왔다.

오는 13일 진행되는 추대식에서는 대한민국칭찬주인공아며 CCBS방송 ‘칭찬합시다뉴스’ 홍보대사 위촉식이 열린다. 홍보대사로서 조 회장은 대한민국 곳곳의 숨은 선행과 모범 사례를 널리 알리는 데 앞장설 예정이다.
조정현 회장은 “웃음은 사람의 마음을 여는 가장 따뜻한 언어라고 생각한다”며 “앞으로는 칭찬과 격려를 전하는 일에 더 힘쓰며 대한민국을 밝히는 데 작은 보탬이 되겠다”고 소감을 전했다.

Cho Jung-hyun, former comedian and currently active across various sectors of society, has been selected as the 390th recipient of the “Korea’s Proud Honoree” award. In addition, he has been officially appointed as a Public Relations Ambassador for CCBS Broadcasting’s “Let’s Compliment News,” taking on a new mission and role.
Chairman Cho has long delivered laughter and hope to the public throughout his entertainment career. Even after his broadcasting activities, he has consistently participated in social contribution and sharing initiatives. His dedication to creating positive influence within the community—beyond the path of a simple entertainer—was highly recognized.
The Korea’s Proud Honoree Selection Committee stated, “Chairman Cho Jung-hyun not only brought comfort and joy to the people through his gift of humor, but has also quietly practiced service and encouragement throughout society,” explaining the background of his selection.
At the appointment ceremony scheduled for the 13th, Cho will receive the official plaque recognizing him as the 390th Korea’s Proud Honoree, along with his formal commissioning as a Public Relations Ambassador for CCBS Broadcasting’s “Let’s Compliment News.” In his ambassadorial role, he is expected to take the lead in promoting hidden acts of kindness and exemplary stories from across the nation.
